Spirit

This is my sister, Paula Hunter. Yes we are swimming in the ocean last October!  Didn't get an October swim in this year, but perhaps there is still time as Indian Summer hasn't hit yet. My sister is a remarkable woman. She has worked hard her entire life. She has been a marathon runner, world traveler, and lives in New Hampshire. Her gardens are beautiful. She and Joe have done a great job and they work has been featured on magazine covers. She enjoys being in the garden as do I. My sister Susan is also a gardener in Berkeley and like I, takes on a few landscaping jobs. We are not close in mileage but we are close in spirit. Every year we go up north to hike and enjoy the peace and quiet. My sister Susan, Paula, and my daughter Kate usually rent a house in the Northeast Kingdom. Last year we stayed on echo lake. The sunsets were stunning. And there are some great restaurants as well. You will be sure to meet some Canadians when you are there. Paula also has grandchildren, they call her "Paula". She takes them hiking, and climbing and skiing and to the top of Mount Washington to the weather station. 
This year, Paula could not go with us but she was travelling to South Africa where she was starting work for the Gates Foundation. She has never stopped amazing me. So this year my son Erik, Susan, my daughter Katherine & I ,along with her business partner, Ross enjoyed the Kingdom, hiked two mountains and swam in Lake Willoughby. But she was with us in SPIRIT as we gazed up at the night sky that was illuminated with thousands and thousands of stars.
